Requirements |
-Job Purpose: |

The job holder will be responsible for formulating and coordinating the Department’s planning and performance management frameworks, strategies, systems, tools and programs. |

For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: - |
-
i.A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Public _Policy Administration, Business Management, Project Management, Social Sciences, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; |
-
ii.Master’s degree in business administration, Economics, Strategic Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Project Management, Social Sciences or related field from a recognized institution. |
-
iii.A Course in Strategic Leadership Development or its equivalent from a recognized institution. |
-
iv.Membership to a relevant professional body and in good standing. |
-
v.Proficiency in computer application; |
-
vi.Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution. |
-
Experience: |
-
Minimum twelve (12) years relevant work-experience with at least six (6) years in Middle Level Management |
-

Duties and Responsibilities |
-i.Initiating development and implementation of policies, strategies, data collection tools and plans; |
-
ii.Coordinating planning process including strategic planning and work planning; |
-
iii.Coordinating data collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination. |
-
iv.Coordinating development, review and implementation of performance management systems, programs, tools and policies; |
-
v.Coordinating development, review and implementation of quality management standards and Innovations; |
-
vi.Undertaking research, feasibility studies and surveys to inform Judicial programs and policies; |
-
vii.Coordinating the development of section’s work plans and aligning them to the budget and strategic objectives and goals; |
-
viii.Coordinating monitoring, evaluation and reporting on policies, programs and projects in the Judiciary; |
-
ix.Coordinating target setting, assessments and evaluation of performance, measures and benchmarks; |
-
x.Coordinating development and preparation of periodic planning and performance management reports for Judiciary; |
-
xi.Developing and implementing statistics management system; |
-
xii.Undertaking Capacity building on planning and performance management; |
-
xiii.Coordinating the preparation of the strategic documents, proposals, board papers, concept notes, work plans, budget, and procurement plans; and |
-
xiv.Facilitating Performance Management, mentoring, guidance and counselling of staff. |
